WHAT IS Vinyl FLOORING?
Pros
- Durability: Vinyl flooring is known for its durability. It is resistant to stains, scratches, and wear and tear, making it suitable for high-traffic areas.
- Water-Resistance: Many vinyl flooring options are water-resistant, which makes them a good choice for areas prone to moisture, such as bathrooms, kitchens, and basements.
- Versatility: Vinyl comes in a wide range of styles, colors, and patterns, allowing for versatile design options. It can mimic the look of natural materials like wood or stone.
- Easy Maintenance: Vinyl flooring is easy to clean and maintain. Regular sweeping and occasional mopping are usually sufficient to keep it in good condition
Cons
- Not Biodegradable: Vinyl is a synthetic material and is not biodegradable. Proper disposal is essential to minimize environmental impact.
- VOC Emissions: Some vinyl flooring products may emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can contribute to indoor air pollution. It’s advisable to choose low-VOC or VOC-free options.
- Not as Eco-Friendly: While some manufacturers are making efforts to produce more environmentally friendly vinyl flooring, the production and disposal of vinyl can have environmental implications compared to more sustainable flooring options.
- Not as Realistic as Natural Materials: While vinyl can mimic the appearance of natural materials like wood or stone, it may not match the authenticity and texture of the real thing.

OUR VINYL INSTALLATION PROCESS
The installation process for vinyl flooring can vary depending on the type of vinyl flooring you’ve chosen—whether it’s vinyl sheet, vinyl tile, or vinyl plank. Additionally, different products may have specific installation instructions provided by the manufacturer
Measure and cut the vinyl flooring to fit the dimensions of the room, including any necessary cutouts for doorways or irregularities.
Unroll the vinyl sheet and position it in the room, leaving excess material along the edges. Trim the excess material, leaving a small allowance for any adjustments needed.
